By: The Male Cheerleader For all of you geography newbies this video from the classic TV show West Wing puts into very simple terms as to how different map projections can show the world in completely different ways, yet still be correct. These staffers were surprised to hear about the distortion in size due to the Mercator projection, just as I was surprised when I realized that programming through visual basic would slowly make me crazy.
